Marcus Bowery Therapy
I’ve seen the evolution of clients into happier, more content, more resilient – but still imperfect – people.
Change starts here...
Why I practise Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT)
In my 17 years as a teacher supporting children and families, I’ve always placed their emotional wellbeing at the heart of what I do. I was drawn to REBT after hearing about its efficacy from a close family member who had tried other forms of therapy, and talked their unresolved emotional trauma in circles, but hadn’t been taught any practical skills to help move on. Discussing the changes in this person’s approach to life, how simple, yet effective, some of the steps seemed, and ready for a new personal challenge, I chose to develop my professional skills with REBT qualifications.
“Over a period of a few months my outlook has changed massively and I am a happier, more confident and less anxious person as a direct result of my sessions with Marcus.”
“The key success criteria which marked Marcus’ approach? Proven expertise, a sense of humour, and reducing complex difficulties to a simplified core to focus on.”
“Thank you very, very much for the work you did with me. I am stunned at the progress I've made, and very grateful.”
“Marcus quickly helped me overcome my reservations with his immediate empathy and patience.”
“I am a happier, more confident and less anxious person as a direct result of my sessions with Marcus. I can't recommend enough to anyone who faces similar issues.”
“I had been feeling anxious for a long time and had developed OCD but the visualisation techniques have enabled me to operate with more clarity and free up my cluttered thinking.”
